From the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Central government’s 2022 special plan for pollution and energy conservation and carbon emission reduction budget investment has been issued recently. Six projects in Yichang received free subsidy funds of 64.4 million yuan, accounting for 31.6% of the number of projects and 28.1% of the funds in the province, both ranking first.

　　At present, the construction of 6 projects is accelerating, and all of them are expected to be completed by the end of 2023, providing a demonstration for the growth of energy conservation and carbon emission reduction and green enlargement in the whole city and contributing to a would-be model city with great Yangtze River protection.
