The number of days of good air quality in downtown areas came to 31 days and the water quality was “excellent” in general in July according to Monthly Environmental Quality Report released by Yichang Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau.

　　In terms of ambient air quality, the ratio of days with good air quality rose to 100%, up 3.2 percentage points from a year earlier. And the ratio of days with good air quality averaged 99.8% in 13 cities, counties and districts and Yichang High-tech Zone，up 0.6 percentage points from a year ago. Urban ambient air quality composite index assessment showed that the monitoring results of Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Xingshan County and Yuan’an County were relatively good.
