According to Yichang Customs, from January to August, the import and export volume of Yichang reached 26.98 billion yuan, an increase of 33.1% over the same period last year and 9.2% higher than the provincial value. The export exceeded 23.74 billion yuan, growing by 28% and the import reached 3.24 billion yuan, growing by 86.9%. In August, the total volume of import and export reached a record high of 4.85 billion yuan with an increase of 7.1%.
