With a total investment of 2.002 billion yuan, the construction of Changlin channel, a major transportation for Phosphate rocks, has been fully launched. The road starts from Lengshuikou in Yiling Dongcheng pilot area, connects to the extension of Dongcheng Road and ends at the west side of Meidian in Yaqueling Town, with a total length of 29.543 kilometers and a designed speed of 60 kilometers per hour.

　　As Yichang’s first green electric freight channel, 6 vehicles charging centers for changing batteries, two service areas and two maintenance centers will be built along the route. Yiling District now has about 5,000 transport vehicles for phosphate rock transportation. After the completion of Changlin channel, green electric heavy trucks are expected to become the main force of outward transportation for phosphate rocks, erecting a large outer ring of freight from the north to the east of Yichang.
