On December 9, the City Research Institute of Ocean Engine released the White Paper on the Better City Index 2022. Yichang was listed in the top 100 of the country for the first time, ranking 81st.

　　The White Paper aims to “spread the image of a better city online”, and relies on product data such as Tiktok to build a better city index system from five dimensions of communication, influence, recommendation, goodwill, and attraction, describe the multi-dimensional image of the city online, and measure the prosperity of the city online.
