Starting from April 1st, new standards for social assistance will be implemented in Yichang City. The adjustment covers the recognition of the income standards for subsistence allowances and extreme poverty relief, orphans care and families just outside the margin of eligibility.

　　The exact adjustment includes the monthly urban subsistence allowance is 800 yuan per person with a year-on-year increase of 70-100 yuan; the monthly rural subsistence allowance is 600 yuan per person with a year-on-year increase of 20-70 yuan.
