It is learned from the Parking Center of Yichang Municipal Commission of Urban Management that four governmental institutions including Yichang Municipal Finance Bureau, Yichang Municipal Urban Greening and Landscaping Maintenance Center, Yichang Public Resources Trading Center, and Yichang Supervision and Commanding Center for Urban Management now provide monthly-subscribed sharing parking lots during non-working hours to partially relieve the inadequacy of parking facilities for the neighboring residents.

　　It is also learned that nearly 8000 parking spaces of 175 public institutions in urban Yichang are open to the residents during non-working hours so far, which has effectively relieved the parking pressure. To better utilize the parking resources of the institutions and to improve the quality and efficiency of the public facilities, the Parking Center, working together with the Urban Development Parking Co., Ltd., has initiated a new mode of staggered-hour and monthly-subscribed sharing parking service. Under this mode, the institutional staffs drive their cars home after work, leaving the parking spaces to the neighboring residents, so that the spaces are better utilized both during and after working hours.

　　By now, up to 35 car owners from Tianxin, Minyue Jiayuan, and other residential communities have registered and applied for a monthly-subscribed parking card on the “Parking in Urban Yichang” applet.
