Recently, the reporter learned from Yichang Sanxia Airport that the airport has achieved 6,476 flights and 656,400 passenger throughputs in the first quarter of this year, with an increase of 37.9% and 63.56% respectively. The number of flight movements is basically the same as that of the same period in 2019, and the passenger throughput has recovered to 85.1% of the same period in 2019.

　　With the rapid rebound of China’s business and tourism consumption market, in cooperation with major airlines, the Airport has seized the opportunity to increase the number of flights to the main routes and hot tourist cities in spring. At present, there are 20 airlines operating 40 routes at the Airport, with 47 navigable domestic cities and a maximum of 700 flights taking off and landing every week.
