The Community Elderly Care Service Center in Mingfeng Town, the first elderly care service complex in Yuan’an County, was officially put into operation on May 6, benefiting 10,000 elderly residents.

　　With a total investment of over four million yuan, the project covers a floor area of 1,300 square meters. It is well-equipped, including ten long-term care beds. There are various functional areas in the center, for instance, nutritive diet, elderly education, and intelligent management. Run in a model of “Community plus Social Work Institutions plus Elderly Care Enterprises”, it integrates home-based care, community-based care, and institution-based care for the elderly.

　　Guided by the principle of “serving the elderly wholeheartedly”, this center hires professional teams to provide professional, personalized, and convenient services, such as daycare, rehabilitation nursing, meals, home care, and lessons for the elderly.

　　Yuan’an County has taken solid steps in recent years to upgrade the home and community-based elderly care system to meet the diversified needs of senior citizens.
