On May 19th, it was learned from the Yichang Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau that 18.8605 million yuan of old-age allowance has been distributed during the first quarter, benefiting a total of 117,719 senior citizens.

　　The old-age allowance is distributed to the elderly over 80 who have their household registration in the urban area of Yichang. The monthly distributed allowance is 50 yuan for the elderly aged 80 to 89, 100 yuan for 90 to 99, and 500 yuan for over 100.
