Recently, the 2023 Yichang Food Safety Accident Emergency Drill was held in Yiling District.

　　This drill simulated a food safety accident in a restaurant at Yiling Wanda CBD, where customers were suffering from abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting due to food poisoning caused by salmon contaminated by Vibrio parahaemolyticus. The drill was carried out under procedures, such as accident occurrence and reporting, investigation and handling, response adjustment and command coordination, aftermath handling and response termination, and each link was completed orderly.

　　The drill showed the whole process of handling food safety accidents the audience through early setting shooting, on-site drill show, combination of live streaming and early videos display in the main venue, and the drills in other departments plus video display. It brought the audience into an immersive experience of emergency responses in each link, including accident report, situation analysis, command and coordination of relevant departments, investigation and disposition, public opinion guidance, information release, comprehensively and fully presenting the efficient operation of the emergency system at the accident site.
