The Dragon Boat Festival Gala--Ode to Dragon Boat Festival, a CCTV special program, will be aired on CCTV-1, CCTV-3, CCTV-15 and CMG Mobile at 19:30 on June 22.

　　The gala demonstrated the Qu Yuan Culture of Yichang in five chapters, exactly, “Dragon Boat Festival”, “My Hometown”, “My Love”, “My Aspiration” and “My Motherland”, all filmed in Yichang with XR and VR technologies. The program interpreted and carried forward the profound spirit of Qu Yuan, inheriting Dragon Boat Festival Culture and showcasing the beautiful scenery of the Three Gorges, to tell the stories of new-era China through the Dragon Boat Festival which reflects the patriotism of Chinese people.

　　The gala took its inspiration from the Dragon Boat Festival Culture of Yichang and presented the uniqueness of the Dragon Boat Culture of Yichang to exhibit the traditional features and the present value of the Dragon Boat Festival customs in Yichang and contribute to the comprehensive promotion of the brand power and international communication capacity of the Dragon Boat Festival Culture of Yichang as Qu Yuan’s hometown.
