On June 20, it was learned from the Human Resources and Social Security Department that a total of 1,466,700 yuan has been paid to 1,171 workers with work-related injuries or their dependent relatives in Yichang City as reissued work-related injury benefits for the first five months of this year.

　　The treatment standard of work-related injury insurance has been increased since January of this year, and the allowance for the employees with work-related injuries of grades 1 to 6, the pension for their dependent relatives and the related living care expenses has been increased to respective levels.

　　This raised treatment standard benefit 1,171 workers with work-related injuries or dependent relatives in Yichang City, including 372 workers with work-related injuries whose average monthly disability allowance has increased by 11.16% compared to last year, namely 377.71 yuan, 195 workers with work-related injuries whose average monthly living care expenses has increased by 11.57% compared to last year, namely 286.59 yuan, and 604 dependent relatives whose average monthly pension has increased by 11.23% compared to last year, namely 159.87 yuan.
