Recently, it was learned from the Yichang Municipal Housing Provident Fund Center that the housing provident fund contribution base of employees in 2023 will be adjusted on the basis of their average monthly salary in 2022.

　　In accordance with the standard for the average annual salary of the in-service employees from urban non-private institutions provided by the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Statistics, the upper limit of the monthly contribution base of the housing provident fund of Yichang City is 25,581 yuan and the upper limit of the monthly deposit is 6,140 yuan in 2023. According to The Notice of the General Office of Hubei Provincial People’s Government on Adjusting the Minimum Salary Standard in the Province issued by The People’s Government of Hubei Province in 2021, the lower limit of the monthly contribution base of housing provident fund of Yichang City is 1,800 yuan and the lower limit of the monthly deposit is 180 yuan in 2023.

　　According to the Municipal Housing Provident Fund Center, the adjustment of the housing provident fund contribution base will be completed before August 31 according to the new standard, including that of the past months since January, for which a supplementary payment can be made for the underpaid part.
