Since the beginning of this year, the Yangtze River tourism market has been constantly thriving and the passenger flow in the section of the Three Gorges hub has significantly increased. The tourism programs of “Two Dams plus One Gorge” and “Yangtze River Night Tour” as the business cards of Yichang’s tourism industry are highly favored by tourists from all over the world and enjoy continuously growing popularity. According to the statistics by the Changjiang Three Gorges Navigation Administration Bureau, from January to June this year, the Three Gorges Project has facilitated the passage of 490 vessels and 196,100 passengers, with an increase of 1431.25% and 8802.22% respectively, and the Gezhouba Project achieved the passage of 1,303 vessels and 765,500 passengers, with an increase of 157.51% and 817.18% respectively.
