Located at the juncture of Dongshan Avenue and the 4th Shengli Road, the Youth Housing Project officially starts the above-ground construction after the underground structure has been completed 15 days ahead of schedule.

　　As a high-quality indemnificatory rental housing project constructed by Yichang City, the Youth Housing Project which is expected to be put into use in 2024, is planned to put up a 23-storey high-rise residential building with 286 rental flats, supporting commercial services and underground garages. Li Lei, head of the project, said that the prefabricated construction method will be used in the follow-up construction of the main structure, and over 60% of the single building will be prefabricated.

　　Indemnificatory rental housing is an important way to solve the problems confronted by new citizens and youths in buying or renting flats. Yichang City has kept on expanding the supply of indemnificatory rental housing and has through multiple channels provided 13,000 flats to meet the diverse housing requirements of new citizens and youths.
