The PLA Air Force has successfully wrapped up its 2023 pilot cadet recruitment on the eve of “August 1” (anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army). A few days ago, the Political Work Department of the Southern Theater Command Air Force sent a letter to the Yichang Municipal People’s Government, paying tribute to the city for the excellent results and strong support in the air force recruitment work this year.

　　The letter reads that Yichang has cultivated nine qualified flight cadets for the Air Force this year, which is a new high in recent years.
