On August 19, CCTV-3’s “Setting out for Happiness” program, together with the Yichang Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Yichang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Yichang Municipal Women’s Federation and the Yiling District Government, organized the matchmaking activity “Love in a Hike” and the concert “Falling in Love with Yichang in Vibrant Youth” in the Bailihuang Resort. The event was broadcast live via the China Media Group Mobile platform.

　　Hosted by Yang Fan and Zhang Hanyu of CCTV, the event brought together 120 singles, who got to know each other in the hiking, games, singing and other activities. Their acquaintance was a good beginning of future relationships.

　　In the evening, the concert “Falling in Love with Yichang in Vibrant Youth” was launched. The Yichang Employers’ Volunteering Matchmaking Team and the “Phoenix in Yichang” Matchmakers Studio were awarded plaques. Bailihuang Resort was awarded as Yichang Youth Matchmaking Base.

　　This event is an innovative move in Yichang’s construction of a youth development-centered city and the youth service brand “Falling in Love with Yichang in Vibrant Youth”. Since the launch of the pilot of constructing a youth development-centered city, Yichang has implemented the medium- and long-term youth development plan, advocating the concept of the youth developing first. It has made continuous efforts to tackle the difficult and urgent problems of young people, so that they can take root and pursue their dreams in Yichang.
