The 62-day travel rush during the summer holiday ended on August 31. Yichang Sanxia Airport handled about 649,300 passengers, a year-on-year increase of 85.7%, and a total of 5,605 flight movements were guaranteed, a year-on-year increase of 52.6%.

　　From the perspective of passenger flow, the passenger traffic at Sanxia Airport during the summer travel rush is mainly tourist flow, business flow, and student flow. Popular domestic destinations are mainly areas with high flight density such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing, Guiyang, Chengdu and other popular tourist cities such as Kunming, Chongqing, Haikou and Hohhot.
