Recently, China Three Gorges University announced that China Three Gorges Group Co., Ltd. has donated 10 million yuan to the university, which will be used for the construction project of the university’s Civil Engineering Structures and Materials Experimental Building.

　　The experimental building project covers an area of 7,013.39 square meters with a total construction area of 10,109 square meters. With six floors and a height of 23.9 meters, the building will consist of teaching rooms, experimental rooms, and research rooms. The project will commence in early September this year and is expected to be completed by the end of October 2024. The donated 10 million yuan from China Three Gorges Group will mainly be used for the foundation and main structure of the building.

　　On July 10, China Three Gorges Group signed agreement of a new round of cooperation with China Three Gorges University. As a comprehensive university with a distinct focus on water resources and electric power, China Three Gorges University has played a unique and important role in the development of China Three Gorges Group. China Three Gorges Group stated that both parties will take the signing of the new strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to complement each other’s strengths for mutual progress, and work together to build a new paradigm of comprehensive, in-depth, and multi-form university-enterprise cooperation.
