　　The major events of this festival themed “Green Yangtze River, Magnificent Three Gorges” will be staged from September 16 to September 27 in Yichang. There are altogether 18 events under seven categories, including the opening ceremony, the 2023 Hubei-Chongqing conference on the Yangtze River Three Gorges Regional Tourism Cooperation chaired by Yichang this year, the Ninth Yangtze River Piano Festival, the Ninth Hubei Yichang(Yiling) Tangerine Festival, Hubei Zhaojun Culture and Tourism Festival, Hubei Danyang Guan Yu Culture and Tourism Festival and Guanling Temple Fair, Hubei Qingjiang River Open Water Swimming Invitational (OWSI) and the Eighth “Hubei Changyang-Qingjiang River Gallery” Open Water Swimming Challenge.

　　The China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival, approved by the state, is a great event co-hosted by the People’s Government of Hubei Province and that of the Chongqing Municipality. The event, organized annually by the two hosts in turn since 2010, has become renowned among its kind across the country.
