According to Yichangdong Railway Station, the national railway system will run on a new schedule of the fourth quarter of this year from Oct 11. After the adaptation of the new schedule, there will be 103 trains operating each day, including 48 starting from and 55 passing by Yichangdong Railway Station.
Train G2818/9 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Wuhan will change its train number to G2385 and terminals to Yichangdong. Train D2161/4 connecting Wuhan and Nanjingnan will operate as G2396 between Yichangdong and Shanghai. Train D2186/5 between Yichangdong and Chizhou in Anhui Province will operate as D2186 with its terminals changed to Taicang in Jiangsu Province. Train D3084/3 connecting Yichangdong and Nanjingnan will operate as D2497 between Hankou and Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu Province. Train D3082/1 operating between Yichangdong and Nanjingnan will change its train number to D2494/3 and terminals to Wujin in Jiangsu Province. Train D5975 linking Hankou and Yichangdong will change its train number to D9287. Instead of daily operations, D9287 will only serve during peaking hours.
Train D5949/50 between Hankou and Yichangdong and Train D5951 linking Hankou and Enshi will be added in the new schedule and 2 other lines will be set for peak hours, including Train D9288 linking Yichangdong and Hankou, Train D9303/4 from Hankou to Lichuan.
In addition, three lines are suspended, including Train D5824 linking Yichangdong and Wuhan, Train D9321/2 from Hankou to Yichangdong and Train D9323/4 between Hankou and Enshi. (Reporter/Liu Jingjing, Correspondent/Yang Qinghui)
