The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the list of green manufacturing enterprises for 2023, including eight from Yichang City: Yichang Nanbo Silicon Materials Co., Ltd., Huaxin Cement (Zigui) Co., Ltd., Hubei Longteng Hongqi Cable (Group) Co., Ltd., Dongtu Technology (Yichang) Co., Ltd., Xingqin (Yichang) Electronics Co., Ltd., Hubei Taisheng Chemical Co., Ltd., Yichang Kelin Silicon Materials Co., Ltd., and Yichang Lijia Technology Co., Ltd.

　　The implementation of the national green manufacturing system is an important measure for the industrial sector to promote green development and implement the strategy of building China into a manufacturer of quality and developing advanced manufacturing, guiding enterprises in green design, development of green products, and establishment of green supply chains, green factories and green industrial parks, among which, the green factories as the main subject to implement the strategy of green manufacturing plays the role of a core support unit in green manufacturing system.

　　In recent years, Yichang has increased its efforts to promote the green manufacturing system, introduced relevant policies and measures, and encouraged enterprises to actively apply for inclusion. By creating advanced examples of green manufacturing, demonstrating and driving the green transformation and development of enterprises, Yichang is promoting green, safe, and high-quality development in its industries.
