On November 24, the CCID Advanced Manufacturing Research Center under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the report of “2023 Top 100 Cities in Advanced Manufacturing”. Six Hubei cities got listed, Yichang ranking 53rd.

　　The report evaluated the development of advanced manufacturing in 293 prefecture-level cities nationwide based on five primary indicators, including innovation capability, integrated development, economic driving force, brand quality, green and intensive development, as well as 24 secondary indicators.

　　In recent years, Yichang has actively embraced the new era of technological revolution and industrial transformation, integrating the development of a manufacturing powerhouse with the development of the digital economy and production informatization to establish a modern industrial system. Statistics shows that in the first nine months of this year, the industrial added value of Yichang increased by 7.4% year on year, which is higher than the provincial average. (Reporter/Zhao Jingyi)
