2023-12-08 08:37:00

Recently, the China National Intellectual Property Administration released the list of national high-quality agglomeration development pilot zones for intellectual property services, Yichang High-tech Zone (HTZ) included as the first among the prefecture-level cities and the second in Hubei Province.

In recent years, Yichang HTZ has actively promoted the high-quality development of intellectual property, and has set up 65 intellectual property service institutions, with 92 projects initiated for the establishment of intellectual property operation service systems and 47 training sessions launched for enterprise intellectual property specialists, trademark brand cultivation, and patents management. Through the efforts of the HTZ, a total of 3.689 million yuan has been distributed to its enterprises as intellectual property subsidies and 92 million yuan has been acquired by the enterprises through intellectual property mortgage financing. In addition, the zone has provided active services to 30 key enterprises of Yichang City in their creation of international brands, with the overseas sales revenue amounting to over 700 million US dollars and the newly created international registered trademarks reaching 1056 in number, which shows the vigorous development of the intellectual property service industry of Yichang.

To enhance its service capabilities and industrial agglomeration effect, Yichang HTZ, taking the Yichang Intellectual Property Service Building as an agglomeration carrier, has gathered the service resources of various levels by attracting 30 intellectual property service institutions to settle in as a key industrial intellectual property operation center. Last year, the revenue from the institutions based in the building reached 38.507 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 45.54%, exceeding the GDP growth rate of the zone by 20.5% and the tertiary industry growth rate by 9.0%.
