The first Yichang Public Ice and Snow Season opened on December 8 at Wanda Plaza in Wujiagang District and will run until February 2024. The event co-sponsored by Yichang Municipal Bureau of Cultural and Tourism Administration and Yichang Three Gorges Converged Media Center includes eight themed parts, such as the distribution of vouchers for hot spring, a skiing competition, and a teenager skiing winter camp, which will meet the various demands of entertainment for visitors and winter sports enthusiasts.

　　During this month, a short video contest will be launched to accompany the event for tourists and netizens to document their fond memories enjoyed in Yichang, and the participants will have a chance to win awards. Apart from that, during the jovial get-together from December 8, 2023 to February 28, 2024, the Municipal Bureau of Cultural and Tourism Administration is projected to hand out several types of vouchers for hot spring to attract both native residents and inbound travelers. The sought-after consumption vouchers are available on mobile apps such as Meituan, Ctrip, Tongcheng Travel, and Qunar.
