According to Hubei Zigui Cultural Tourism Investment Development Co., Ltd, Quyuan Hometown International Ski Resort opened on Dec. 28.

　　The ski resort is located in Luojia Village, Maoping Town. 30 minutes’ drive from Zigui downtown and 80 minutes’ drive from Yichang. It is another newly built comprehensive tourist destination and the closest ski resort to Yichang besides the ski resorts of Wufeng, Xingshan, Yunqi Valley and Bailihuang.

　　The ski resort has a planning area of about 370,000 square meters and its completed facilities include one ski slope, two primary ski slopes, one snow tubing track, a snow entertainment area of 7,000m2 and 8,400m2 snow playing field, covering a snow area of 38,000m2 and fulfilling the both functions of skiing and snow recreation. It is equipped with buffet restaurants, ecological parking lots and facilities for ski teaching, specialty stores and shops for hot beverages and ski equipment rentals and sales and so on, providing one-stop services of ice and snow sports.
