Recently, the “Navigation 06202” docked at the port of Zhijiang Waterway accompanied by two navigation stake boats, marking the delivery and operation of the first all-electric surveying ship on the Yangtze River.
The ship will be mainly used for the survey in the Yichang Waterway, including the topographic survey of waterway passage and the hydrological analysis of riverbed sediment. The ship is equipped with multi-beam sounders with automated lifting devices, ADCP flow velocity and direction meters, laser radar, unmanned survey boats, drones, and other measurement and auxiliary equipment. It can provide reliable and accurate survey data for the construction of the Yangtze River digital waterway, meeting the survey and emergency measurement requirements under the conditions of digital waterway operation.
The “Navigation 06202” has a total length of 34.80 meters, a beam width of 6.5 meters and a moulded depth of 2.6 meters, and it can endure a journey of 180 kilometers on a single charge. To meet the charging needs of “Navigation 06202”, State Grid Zhijiang Power Supply Company has invested 4.25 million yuan to build a port for the all-electric official ship at the Zhijiang Waterway Terminal. The facility is equipped with one 800 kVA special transformer, two 80 kVA shore power pedestals and a set of six-interface 500 kVA charging piles. The maximum charging current is 750 amperes, and it can simultaneously supply power to two official ships. (Reporter/Zhao Jingyi, Correspondent/Zhang Xukun)
