2024-01-18 15:45:00

On January 12, it was learnt from the Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security that Yichang recruited a total of 73,939 talents in 2023, successfully achieving the annual target of introducing 70,000 talents. Among them, individuals with a college degree or above accounted for 65.30%, and talents from outside the city accounted for 67.01%.

To meet the recruitment goals, Yichang took proactive steps by establishing connections with 50 “Talent Liaison Stations” of colleges and universities. They proactively collected information on graduating students, developed recruitment plans, and mapped out strategies for campus recruitment in advance. In alignment with the demand, the Human Resources service representatives engaged in one-on-one consultations with enterprises, tailoring recruitment plans to address their specific talent acquisition challenges. Throughout 2023, 75,000 positions in total have been provided to the employment market in Yichang.

Yichang effectively utilized a collaborative recruitment system across the city and counties. They launched a “Special Delegation for Talent Recruitment” that traveled to various regions including Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, Guangdong, west of Hu’nan Province, and east of Chongqing. A total of 71 sessions of university-focused recruitment were carried out in the initiative of “Thousand Enterprises Promoting in Hundred Universities and Colleges”, both online and offline, resulting in the receipt of 58,800 resumes.

Additionally, various talent policies have been implemented and refined to ensure the recruitment of various types of talents based on the App of “Yichang Talents Code”. As of now, the registered users of the “Yichang Talents Code” have reached 199,000, with 63,700 individuals categorized and recognized. The accumulated disbursement for living subsidies has reached 83.717 million yuan. (Reporter/Liu Jingjing, Correspondent/Zheng Xiaojuan)
