On January 27th, the newly built Xiaoting Expressway Service Center of the Yichang Yangtze River Expressway Bridge opened to the public as the first “five-star” expressway service complex in Yichang with the services of dining, accommodation, shopping, entertainment and leisure. The service center was invested and built by Yichang Changjiang Highway Bridge Construction Development Company under Yichang City Construction Investment Holding Group. On the same day, the former Xiaoting Expressway Service Center was closed.

　　The newly constructed expressway service center is located on the section of the Yichang Yangtze River Expressway Bridge of the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, about 1km away from the former service center, and covers an area of over 8 hectares including the south section and the north section. The construction of the service center was started on January 26, 2022.

　　The service center presents the rich historical and cultural features of Yichang in its interior and exterior design, and it has introduced a number of well-known brands, such as KFC and CAI LIN JI, which makes the service center a new type of smart public service complex as a body of commercial services, a home for drivers and a cultural exhibition.
