Proper behaviors of tourists in public advocated
2024-03-22 09:34:10

The golden rapeseed flowers in Nanya Flower Field, Yiling District, the peach blossoms on Jiaguo Mountain in Yidu, and the Yuan’an Field Marathon, all are wonderful attractions for outings and spring tours in the prime of spring. In recent days, various places in Yichang have opened their doors to welcome visitors, and tourists from all over have come to Yichang to experience its unique charm in spring. The Municipal Cultural and Tourism Bureau advocates for the general public and tourists: well-behaved manner in public during their visits adds more charm to the scene.

Tourists are advised to plan their itinerary in advance and pay attention to travel safety. Before traveling, they are suggested to pay attention to travel tips released by the departments of meteorological services and administration of culture and tourism and transportation, closely monitor weather changes, and plan their trip modes and routes reasonably. They also need to make advance reservations for tickets to tourist destinations and accommodations, and arrange their trips at non-peak times, strictly comply with fire safety regulations at venues and follow the guidance and commands of on-site staff in case of emergencies or unexpected situations, and follow the instructions of safety signs and stay away from areas prone to geological disasters, such as landslides and collapses.

Green modes and proper manners of travel are advocated, including no cutting in line at public places, no spitting and littering in public, and no trampling on lawns. Tourists should consciously refrain from climbing randomly in scenic areas, carving or defacing, damaging cultural relics, natural landscapes, or tourist facilities, and adhere to smoking bans and refrain from smoking in indoor public places, public transportation, and other designated non-smoking areas.
