China Three Gorges University (CTGU) held its 10th Peach Blossom Culture Festival & the Promotion Activity in theme of “Attracting Talents to Yichang and Striving for Further Development of Xiling District” on the campus on March 23.

　　The event included three display sections for exhibition of exotic cultures, internationalization of CTGU, and peach blossom culture respectively. In the first display section, overseas teachers and students demonstrated their distinctive cultures through music and dance performances as well as clothing shows, etc. The achievement display of CTGU international development provided visitors an access to the college student education, innovative scientific research, international exchanges and cooperation. The peach blossom culture display sponsored by the government of Xiling District featured a great variety of cultural experience and creative conception in the theme of peach flowers.

　　Many other activities were presented for interactive communication, such as the flash mod, ethnic culture show, Hanfu performance and the game of classical Chinese poem recitation, in the themes of “Meeting in Cultural Encounter” and “Beautiful Encounter with CTGU”, which demonstrated the active and enthusiastic image of the CTGU students and boosted communication among visitors and CTGUers in various forms.
