Yichang adds two provincial overseas Chinese exchange bases
2024-03-28 09:39:00

It was learned from the Municipal Overseas Chinese Federation on March 24 that Yichang has two new “Hubei Provincial Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Bases”.

According to The Regulations on the Management of Hubei Provincial Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Bases, the Hubei Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese has identified 21 institutions as the second batch of bases of the sort, including Leizu Cultural Park in Yuan’an County and Yang Shoujing Academy in Yidu County. So far, Yichang owns two “National Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Bases”, namely Qu Yuan Memorial Hall in Zigui County and Zhaojun Village in Xingshan County, and four “Provincial Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Bases”, including two previously approved institutions, Yichang Yuxiao Family Museum and Wufeng Ancient Tea Route.

The Municipal Overseas Chinese Federation will rely on the bases to organize various activities of cultural exchange for overseas Chinese and their relatives, attracting more overseas Chinese to visit, exchange, and invest in Yichang, and accelerating the movement of building Yichang into a model city of the large-scale Yangtze River protection as well as a world-class city.
