It is learned from Yichang Sanxia International Airport on April 18 that in the first quarter of this year, the airport handled a total of 3902.7 tons of cargo and mail, a 671.7% increase compared to the same period in 2023 and a 299.46% increase compared to 2019. New records were set with the highest single-day cargo and mail throughput reaching 91.65 tons, and the highest single-month throughput reaching 1665.73 tons since the commencement of operations.
