On May 11, the 2024 China Brand Value List was jointly released by Xinhua News Agency, the China Council for Brand Development, and the China Appraisal Society. A total of 41 brands from Hubei Province were honored, with Yichang contributing 9 of them, possessing a brand value of over 80 billion yuan. Yichang hits the top notches in Hubei Province in terms of quantity and value.

　　The event, having reportedly been organized for the 11th year in a row, marked a pivotal step to build a brand value evaluation system with Chinese characteristics, fostered an image of China-made brands, and spread Chinese brands to the world. This year saw applications of 1,034 brands, concerning leading companies in most industries nationwide. Among them, 775 institutions were announced of their brand value, totaling a staggering 12.5858 trillion yuan.
