At 10 am on May 12, “Innovation 5,”a 10,000-ton class river-sea direct link ship setting sail from the Zhoushan Port in Ningbo passed through the Gezhouba Dam ship lock and the Three Gorges Dam ship lock, successfully arriving at the Luohuang Port in Jiangjin District, Chongqing City for unloading operations. This marks the maiden voyage of the first river-sea direct route in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
