The Press Conference of the 2024 Beijing International Tea Expo, the Beijing Maliandao International Tea Culture Expo 2024 and the Yihong Gongfu Tea Culture Festival was held in Beijing on May 31. Yichang as the guest city of honor for the event released relevant information about the Yihong Gongfu Tea Culture Festival.

　　The two expositions and one festival will kick off on June 7 at Beijing Exhibition Center. On the day of opening, the China Tea Marketing Association, Xicheng District of Beijing City and Yichang City will promote Yihong Gongfu Tea in a special joint promotion session. Leading enterprises like the Yichang Tea Group will showcase the “Five-Colored Yichang Tea” and invite participants to taste Yichang teas on site. Renowned experts and scholars will also gather for communication on tea culture and tea tasting. On June 8, a special tea promotion session for Yichang teas will be held at Maliandao Tea Complex in Beijing to exhibit Yichang Tea Group’s key products, so as to further develop the market in Beijing.

　　During the Yihong Gongfu Tea Culture Festival, means of on-site sales, live streaming, etc. will be utilized to demonstrate the culture and industry of Yichang teas as well as tea-making technology and tea products, and popularize the charm of Yichang teas.

　　Since 2012, the event of the two expos and one festival has been jointly sponsored annually by the China Tea Marketing Association and the People’s Government of Xicheng District, Beijing, in collaboration with a guest city of honor, and it has become an internationally influential and authoritative boutique expo, serving as a benchmark for the development of tea industry and a platform for exchanges in China and even the world.
