Yichang’s 419 leading enterprises recorded online retail sales of 3.677 billion yuan in the first five months of this year, a 19.5% increase on the same period last year, according to the second general meeting of Yichang Network Commerce Association held on June 21.

　　It was learned that the e-commerce industry of Yichang has maintained rapid growth this year, and its e-commerce sector continues to expand, with the online retail sales of 419 leading enterprises increasing by 19.5% year on year, 6.1% higher than the overall retail growth rate for major enterprises, and 39 new key e-commerce enterprises added, bringing the total to 252.
