On the morning of June 28, the inaugural meeting of the Yichang “Two Dams and One Gorge” Tourism Development Alliance, along with the first General Assembly and Board Meeting of the Alliance, was held at the Three Gorges International RV Camping Ground. Enterprises such as the Three Gorges Tourism Group, the Hubei Yichang Transportation Tourism Group, and the Hubei Yichang Three Gorges Huanba Tourism Development Group Co.,Ltd gathered together, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the high-quality development of Yichang’s cultural and tourism market.

　　At the meeting, the “Yichang ‘Two Dams and One Gorge’ Tourism Development Alliance Charter” and the “Yichang ‘Two Dams and One Gorge’ Tourism Development Alliance Financial Management System” were reviewed and approved, and the alliance council, secretariat member units and members were elected.

　　The Yichang “Two Dams and One Gorge” Tourism Development Alliance is established to promote the integrated layout, operation, development, and service of the “Two Dams and One Gorge” area. This initiative seeks to gradually transform the 76-kilometer “Two Dams and One Gorge” into a world-class tourist destination that combines sightseeing, vacationing, wellness, and educational tourism. It lays a solid foundation for significantly enhancing the recognition, reputation, attractiveness, and influence of the core brand “Two Dams and One Gorge.”

　　Based on the advantages of the tourism resources of “Two Dams and One Gorge,” the Alliance will prioritize the promotion of standardized two-day and three-day tour packages for the region. By leveraging the “Internet Plus” approach, the Alliance aims to establish a unified platform for promotion, marketing, and services, promote standardized tour packages, and implement an “all-in-one ticket” system for attractions such as the Three Gorges Dam, the Three Gorges Tribe, and the Sanyou Cave (Three Visitors Cave). This will create an operational model led by the government, with diversified investment and unified management, continually enhancing the prestigious “Two Dams and One Gorge” brand of Yichang.
