A delegation of 23 travel agencies from South Korea has set off from Incheon recently to visit Yichang for a two-day tourism inspection and familiarization trip.

　　The team toured the scenic spots including the Xiling Gorge, Three Gorges Tribe, Longjin Creek, Three Visitors’ Cave, and Land of Peach Blossom. They explored the key tourism attractions and urban areas of Yichang to gain a comprehensive knowledge of Yichang’s tourism infrastructure and supply capabilities in terms of dining, lodging, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment. The South Korean travel agents collectively expressed their intention to promote Yichang’s tourism resources among the Koreans and develop several major tourism routes, including “South Korea–Yichang–Enshi,” “South Korea–Yichang–Zhangjiajie” and “South Korea–Yichang” to explore new markets, deepen cooperation, and promote mutual benefits.
