Yichang Library has launched an array of summer themed reading and cultural activities to enrich the mental and cultural lives of students to foster a vibrant and enriching atmosphere during the summer vacation.

　　It was learned that six themed activities include the Summer Movie Showcase commencing on July 6 with a lineup featuring patriotic education films and children’s anime classics, the National Defense Knowledge Lecture will take place on July 28, in the fifth-floor multimedia conference room of the library, with esteemed instructors from local military institutions as guest speakers. Besides, “Happy English” as a socially useful program is set to delight students in summer vacation on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, offering a unique blend of language learning and fun.

　　Rounding out the summer lineup are creative endeavors like the Children’s National Defense Theme Painting Contest, the “Happy Hut” experience, and a curated list of new book recommendations tailored specifically for summer reading pleasure.
