2024-08-09 10:06:24
To enhance the nighttime cultural experience for Yichang people, the Yichang Museum extended its operating hours and introduced a series of activities with the theme of “Marvelous Nights of Yichang Museum” on the evenings of August 2nd and 3rd.

It was reported that the “Marvelous Nights of Yichang Museum” encompassed ten programs, all of which took place from 19:00 to 21:00 on both August 2 and 3. During the program of “Pictures at Yichang Museum”, various photo-taking spots were set up throughout the museum, where participants could redeem exquisite gifts, including museum postmarked postcards, collectible catalogs, and commemorative badges, by engaging in specific activities and taking group photos. The program of “Introducing Songs of Chu” featured docents guiding minors into Qu Yuan’s spiritual realm through the exclusive smart AR social education picture books of “Songs of Chu: Ode to the Orange”, tailored specifically for teenagers. Through reciting Qu Yuan’s poetic classics, participating in interactive quizzes, and evening picture book readings, participants gained insights into Qu Yuan’s noble patriotic sentiments and relentless pursuit of knowledge. Additionally, the section of “Nighttime Shopping” extended the opening hours of the cultural and creative store, offering special discounts of 10% off all cultural and creative products, along with free stamping services.

Furthermore, the museum offered activities such as paper cutting, lacquer fan making, pottery crafting, classic movie screenings, nighttime memory tours, calligraphy and painting appreciation, and ancient zither performances, inviting visitors to savor the unique charm of the museum under the veil of night.
