　　Yichangdong Railway Station witnessed a surge in student traffic as the summer holiday drew to a close, with an average of approximately 80,000 travelers passing through its gates daily. The station has coordinated its capacity, optimized services, and collaborated with various departments to guarantee smooth and orderly travel for student passengers.

　　The 2024 summer railway transport season concluded on August 31. Throughout the 62-day period, the ten passenger stations under the jurisdiction of the Yichang Train Depot of China Railway Wuhan Group Co., Ltd., including Yichangdong Railway Station, Enshi Railway Station, and Jingmen Railway Station, collectively served over 4.3 million travelers. This figure represents a 7.7% increase compared to the previous year. Notably, Yichangdong Railway Station alone handled 1.887 million passengers, marking a 5.4% year-on-year rise.
