　　It was learned from the Yichang Municipal Healthcare Security Bureau on September 5 that insured employees can now apply to use their personal account balances to cover the medical insurance premiums for their family members who have already paid the 2025 resident medical insurance fees within Hubei Province.

　　Since September, centralized enrollment and premium payment for the 2025 Basic Medical Insurance for Rural and Non-working Urban Residents in Hubei Province have commenced. Residents of Yichang who are enrolled in the employee medical insurance can link their insured relatives within Hubei Province as family members for shared medical expenses. They can then log onto the “Hubei Healthcare Security” platform via WeChat or Alipay to apply to use their personal account balances to reimburse the medical insurance premiums that these family members have already paid for the Basic Medical Insurance for Rural and Non-working Urban Residents in Hubei Province.
