From October 1 to 7, the 11 large commercial complexes in Yichang recorded total sales of approximately 217 million yuan, an increase of 1.4% compared to the same period last year.

　　Throughout the holidays, over 40 consumer promotion activities were held across the city, covering categories such as beauty products, apparel, children’s toys, and jewelry. These promotion events, by offering discounts and bundled discounts, created a pleasant shopping environment.

　　To boost the holiday economy and revitalize the consumer market, the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce issued a consumption guide, providing comprehensive and detailed tips on shopping, entertainment, and gourmet food. Additionally, the bureau allocated vouchers worth 1.5 million yuan for night-time consumption in two rounds. On October 6, it also organized outdoor promotions for singer Jeff Chang’s concert, which featured 18 famous local enterprises. Specialty restaurants and supermarkets were also encouraged to provide discounts for diners and shoppers presenting concert tickets.
