Sanxia Airport’s three new routes complete inaugural flights

  On October 27, the civil aviation across China began to implement its winter-spring flight schedule. On the first day of the schedule change, Sanxia International Airport planned 80 takeoffs and landings, transporting 9,620 passengers. The airport alsolaunched the successful inaugural flights of Kunming-Yichang-Jinan, Yichang-Xuzhou, and Yichang-Beihai routes, with an average occupancy rate of 85% on these new routes.

  On October 29, the Yichang-Yangzhou route was added, and in November, the Yichang-Yantai-Shenyang route will be introduced. By then, Sanxia International Airport will have 15 airlines operating 36 passenger routes and one cargo route, serving 41 destinations.

  After the flight schedule change, Sanxia International Airport will offer 2-3 flights per day to Beijing, Shenzhen, and Kunming; 2 flights per day to Guangzhou, Chengdu, Dalian, Guiyang, and Taiyuan; 1-2 flights per day to Shanghai, Qingdao, Shenyang, and Beihai; and one daily flightto Taizhou, Ningbo, Xi'an, Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Jieyang, Tianjin, Nanning and Huizhou. Other destinations such as Zhuhai, Lanzhou, Haikou, Urumqi, Fuzhou, Xuzhou, and Yangzhou will be served on an intermittent basis. (Correspondent/Zhang Na)
