　　Yichang’s fishery industry continues to make significant strides in high-quality development by promoting transformation and green development and improving quality and efficiency so as to create new economic growth points. According to the Yichang Municipal Center of Fishery Technological Extension, as of November 17, the city has added five municipal-level leading aquatic product enterprises. At present, Yichang’s total aquaculture area spans 12,700 hectares, with an estimated annual output of 215,000 tons, marking a year-on-year increase of over 4%.
