Yidu Hubei China-Giraffe Land, the first animal-themed resort in Yichang, officially opened on November 22. This tourist attraction features interactive experiences with cute animals, family-friendly activities, leisure activities, and sightseeing opportunities. It is poised to become a new hotspot and a growth driver for Yidu’s culture and tourism industry.
Located in Yidu County, the resort spans an area of approximately 58.44 acres and is expected to attract 500,000 visitors per year. Housing 58 species of unique wildlife, the resort distinguishes itself from traditional zoos by embracing the concept of natural ecology. It effectively utilizes local resources, such as the Qingjiang River, mountains, and wetlands, enabling visitors to enjoy breathtaking landscapes while interacting closely with animals.
To cater to the diverse needs of visitors, the resort offers immersive experiences including mountain moving walkways, luge carts, and underwater treasure hunts, among others. Additionally, it provides 120 themed accommodations in six distinct styles: traditional Chinese-style lodging, tent-shaped accommodations, mountain cabins, riverside villas, cave-like stays, and mountaintop clubhouses.
