　　It was learned that the Yichang Sanxia International Airport launched its direct flight service between Yichang and Hong Kong, effective December 17. This inaugurates the first regularly scheduled passenger route linking the two cities, offering a convenient two-hour journey.

　　Operated by Greater Bay Airlines, the new route will run three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Flight HB850 departs Hong Kong at 3:15 PM, arriving in Yichang at 5:15 PM. In the opposite direction, flight HB851 takes off from Yichang at 6:05 PM, landing in Hong Kong at 8:20 PM.
