　　On December 15, it was learned from the Yichang Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau that the 2024 Agricultural and Rural Practical Talents Funding Project Selection & the 9th Agricultural and Rural Practical Talents Entrepreneurship and Innovation Project Competition in Yichang has recently concluded. Twenty outstanding contestants from various regions across the city participated in the activity, demonstrating new industrial formats and models including planting, breeding, agricultural product processing, specialty fruits, leisure agriculture and creative agriculture.

　　The 20 project leaders have simultaneously been included in the category of “2024 Agricultural and Rural Practical Talents.” All the awardees and projects will receive priority recommendation for participation in relevant national and provincial competitions and selections, as well as for attendance at national rural practical talent leader training and provincial agricultural industry leading talent training. In recent years, Yichang has cultivated over 100 leading talents in agricultural and rural industries, more than 200 pioneering talents and over 21,000 new-type professional farmers.
